Still in the original packaging, a Brand new, unused Earth III lighting Bolt guitar strap. Never attached to a guitar. This is from the very last run of these straps produced in 2021-2022. The company is now permanently closed. I am leaving this strap folded in the plastic for potential collectors. This Authentic Earth III strap is brand new and spotless The Earth III Lighting Bolt strap was arguably their most popular. The Earth III Guitar Strap Co. was started by Richard Oliveri in the late 1970's on Staten Island, NY. He designed and created these world famous guitar straps, including his best known straps, the musical note and the lightning bolt straps. He manufactured them until 1989, when he was tragically killed in an auto accident in Florida while on vacation, thus ending a great career and company. The company started up again six or seven years ago, but closed again for good in 2023. Earth III straps were (are) worn by many great players such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai, Ace Frehley, Keith Richards, Metallica, anthrax and many others. These straps are nearly impossible to find now, with this being the only Earth III Lighting Bolt Strap strap for sale on Ebay and Reverb as of this writing.
